San Antonio

Canyon Springs Golf Course - Nominated Best New Course 1998 by Golf Digest and Golf Magazine, this
one will surely please the most discriminating player. A true Hill Country Course on
this choice piece of Texas real estate, this is what many golfers will refer to as among
the very best of what this great golf state has to offer. GPS system on carts give
you the exact distant to the pin on each hole.
Hyatt Hill Country Golf Club and Resort - consistently rated in the top ten resorts, Part of the famous Texas
Hill Country, you will not find many level lies. Lots of trees, hills, and dog leg
fairways combined with ultra-fast undulating greens provide exciting and challenging golf.
La Cantera - Rated in the top 20 "Upscale Courses" by Golf Digest and in
the top 50 of "Courses You Can Play" by Golf Digest, the course is the current
site of the PGA Texas Open. It was ranked number 5 in America's Top State Courses in
1997-98. Designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, the course was built in 1995 with lots
of hills with water in play. Home to the SBC Westin Open.
Olympia Hills -
A new course, this course is very, very exciting and enhances San Antonio's reputation as
a golf destination. A unique combination of natural topography and man-made mounds and
bunkers make this a super course. The views are spectacular, with several holes
playing to greens well below the tees, while other lead to a significant rise to reach the
putting surface. A super layout at a reasonable price.
Pecan Valley Golf Club - Wow. What a golf course. This course with a rich
tradition has been recreated into another magnificant course for San Antonio. This is a
must play facility that local players are raving about it. The many mature pecan
trees and natural terrain with a winding creek make this a challenging course for any
level of golfer.
Quarry Golf Club - This magnificent course, carved out of an old quarry, is rated in the
top ten of "America's Top State Golf Courses" by Golf Digest. The views of
San Antonio and the surroundings are so stunning that local players keep going back just
for the scenery. The front nine has a decidedly links feel with water coming into play.
Making the turn, you find out where it course gets its name. You play in a huge, abandoned
rock quarry, with steep walls that go up, up, up, almost 100 feet on three sides. This one
must be played while visiting San Antonio.
SilverHorn
Golf Club of Texas - Another gem in San
Antonio's showcase of excellent courses. This 18 hole Tifdwarf grass course has all the
challenges that the area is known for; creeks, rocks, and trees. The narrow fairways lead
to greens which are fast and undulating. Many of the real good local players head for this
one.
Tapatio Springs
Golf Course and Resort - 27 Holes of
challenging golf with magnificant fairways and well sloped, fast greens. Bring lots
of golf balls in case you drift off the fairway. Built in the beautiful hill country
it's well worth the trip. The staff, amenities and golf are all first rate. Recently
named one of the top ten golf resorts in Texas by the Dallas Morning News.

Woodlake Country Club - A traditional course with rich history, narrow fairways with some
streams and ponds in play lead to small, fast, undulating greens protected by sand
bunkers. There are plenty of rolling hills and wind is usually a factor. The front
is more open than the back, which has lots of trees protecting the narrow fairways. It's a
fun, pretty course and the staff is courteous and professional.
Houston
Cypresswood -
54 holes, including the Creek Course and
the beautiful Tradition Course. The Tradition course has completed and complements
the existingCypress and Creek courses at Cypresswood. It is the final step of
creating 54 magnificant holes of golf at the three courses. Designed by Keith
Foster, who also put together The Quarry in San Antonio, it also incorporates several deep
ravines to introduce elevation changes. Huge magnolias, sand and creeks give the
links a feel of a much older, traditional course. The course will provide lots of
golf for any caliber of player. Bring your short game.
Gleannloch
Farm - 27 Holes From the fairways, shaped to
provide superior drainage,to the rolling appearance of hilly terrain, to the strategically
placed sand and grass bunkers, Gleannloch Golf Course features many of the premier design
characteristics of famed courses in Scotland and Ireland. In developing a quiet, peaceful
golf course, while also creating a residential environment harmonious with nature, homes
line only the perimeter of Gleannloch Farms Golf Club, similar to many of the older, most
prestigious clubs in the United States. Fairways, free from the distracting lineup of
